The District is composed of the following 6 Municipalities:  Town of Swan River, RM of Swan River, Village of Benito, Village of Bowsman, Town of Minitonas, RM of Minitonas and the Swan Valley School Division.

  Our Philosophy is "To encourage and initiate the public recreation program which includes physical recreation, social recreation, artistic and group recreation, intellectual  and audience entertainment and continue striving to meet the recreation needs of the community."
